Top 5: Runner Sneaker in 2013



Running( & sneakers) have gained quite a bit of attention lately. 2013 was a big year for the sports-garnered footwear; Special Packs, Brand Collaborations, Seasonal Releases can be seen flooding over the Web and Instagram. Out of all these drops, there are some extraordinary designs that stands out of the crowd and emerge as the best. So please sit back and enjoy this list of what we think are 2013's best runner releases.








 RONNIE FIEG X ASICS GEL LYTE V “VOLCANO”


Ronnie Fieg's relationship with Asics have came a long way since 2007. Dishing out simple colour palettes and using premium materials, Asics Runners were injected with a new breath of life with intriguing details.. The Asics Gel Lyte V comprises of high grade nubuck, sport mesh, pigskin, neoprene and 3M detailing,and a smart colour-blocking was applied on the shoe. Comes with accented rope laces, this release had managed to tuck at many Sneakerheads' heartstrings.




NEW BALANCE 576 “TEA” PACK

This special release revolves around a well-loved beverage over the world, tea. The New Balance model 576 was decked in colourways based on the Great Britain's favourite Fresh Peppermint, Earl Grey, and English Breakfast tea. They feature beautiful suede, special tongue tabs and embroidered Union Jack Flag on the heel. A great concept that fuses different cultures altogether and expressed in the form of footwear.




Nike Flyknit Racer " Multicolour"

Technological advances improve lives. The same can be said for this sneaker that revolutionized the world by storm last year. Utilising latest footwear engineering, Nike created the Flyknit racer that was sold out instantly. A spectrum of impressive colours with the signature woven details that is light-wear, performance-enhanced, and looks good whether for running or casual use. 





Nike Air Max 90 Country Camo (Japan)

For their  SS13 release, Nike returns with long-standing staple model AM90 in HyperfuseTechnology. Japanese Military "Jeitai" Camo spread throughout the uppers on top of an olive based body, a truly special Homage release from the Country Camo pack. It gets even better with details like a Japanese Flag printed on the sockliner and an all-over camo on the shoebox, a great effort put in by Nike for their consumers.





Adidas Consortium Boston OG Pack

Introduced in a 1984 OG colourway, the Adidas Boston pack is designed in collaboration with the Boston Athletic Association. This special Pack takes on a meaningful turn due to the tragic boming event that occurred during the 2013 Boston Marathon. The monochrome grey with added hints of red and blue comes with the famed three stripes in leather, and a woven tongue tab logo. Overall a subtle sneaker with great details made it a must-cop release of year 2013.
