Top 5: Selvedge Denim under S$250

What is selvedge denim ?

Selvedge is a term derived from the words “Self Edge”. By definition, it is “the edge of woven fabric finished so as to prevent raveling, often in a narrow tape effect, different from the body of the fabric. Which means that the denim itself was made in a one-yard wide sheet with self-finished edges. The edge of the denim has a clean finish, it will not unravel and is actually used in the garment (as the outseam). You can identify a selvedge jean by looking at the inside of the outseam.
